| Class ERCuNi | ||
| Description: | Alloy 67 is used for TIG, MIG, oxyacetylene and sub-merged arc welding of 70/30, 80/20 and 90/10 copper-nickel alloys as well as overlaying on steel. A first or barrier layer of Alloy 61 is required before overlaying on steel. On applications using sub-merged arc welding, a first layer of Alloy 60 should be used. Dissimilar welding applications of Alloy 67 include: joining nickel 200 and Monel type alloys to copper-nickel alloys. | |
